The Detention
On Thursday, September 11th, 2025, Mussa was detained by ICE during his scheduled immigration check-in.
He walked into his check-in in good faith—exactly what he was supposed to do, following every rule and requirement. Despite being here legally, paying taxes, and having zero criminal record, ICE detained him.
Current Situation
Communication with Mussa is extremely limited and must go through his attorney. We're still waiting to understand the full legal process and what support he'll be able to receive.
